Transition between data sources

Data miner supports different transitions between data sources – hypertext links, forms, etc. This functionality allows data to be extracted from applications built using RIA technologies – i.e. Web 2.0 sites (like Facebook or Twitter). It’s possible to automatically fill out forms, which would be necessary to access and extract the targeted content. The input data for these forms can vary using a pre-defined dataset.

Run-time adaptation using detectors and triggers

Triggers and detectors can be defined for any given resource. Detectors are used to monitor the content of the resource. Triggers are used to act when this monitored state changes, executing a pre-defined action. This way Data miner can adapt itself dynamically during run-time to the current environment, changing or not.
