The purpose of the system is to extract structured data from resources on the Web. Data can be gathered from any resource that can be represented as DOM. The data is being processed according to a pre-defined set of rules, then stored in a document-oriented database for further processing and retrieval. Additionally, a BI module was developed, that allowed for data cross-sectioning and analysis.
