The client needed a VoIP communication module, that could be run in every browser. We developed a system that used an open-source streaming server, to which a client written in Adobe Flash was connected. The streaming server was modified in order to represent a multitude of SIP peers, and to restream the audio/video streams from the clients into RTP. Additionally, the system was integrated with an Asterisk PBX, and a proprietary system that the client had in place.
